DM held the second forum in 2009 on 26/11 at Paranaguá, in the headquarters of AOCEP - Association of Export Port Operators, from 14h to 17h.
In this event were presented and discussed new technologies for the DM dynamic and static weighing, developed with instrumented rails.
With the support of ALL operation, DM performed in real time, weighing of trains, that occurred in the dynamic balance installed in the main access route to the port of Paranaguá, demonstrating to participants the practical capacity of this equipment to operate automatically without the need for an operator with an intelligent system will report for remote technical assistance (RTA) and data system via WEB.
It was presented with a special focus on the STATICRAIL technology - DM static railway scale, approved by INMETRO in class III of Ordinance 236, with major operational differences and, also, INPI patent. DM has performed installations of this scale at customers, who already realize the quality and superiority of the product, generating savings on maintenance and installation.
It was present some of the leading companies in Paranaguá - Bunge, Cargill, PASA, ALL, Multitrans, Louis Dreyfus, ACP General Store, Heringer - through their representatives.
We had great feedback about the event with guests’ interest in new supplies.

It was reported in the Revista Ferroviária edition of November 2009 announces on this first anniversary to the market the success of the achievements of DM Measurement Systems. The magazine is being distributed for free to all visitors of the fair Negócios nos Trilhos, hosted by the journal itself - Revista Ferroviária- from the 10th to 12th of November 2009 in Sao Paulo. The circulation of this edition was of 10 thousand copies directed to specialists and industry professionals. The magazine Revista Ferroviária and the fair Negócios nos Trilhos are respectively the largest media vehicle and the main business event in the contry of the rail segment.

Every day DM Sistemas de Medição has opened fronts and gaining market shares because of its range and quality of their products. Proof of this is its latest achievement: the approval by INMETRO on its static railway scale - STATICRAIL, the first static scale in the world constructed with instrumented rails and establishes itself as one of the main products of DM due to its innovative technology.
Representatives of INMETRO conducted infrastructure inspections and testing within the 14th to the 17th October on a static scale installed in Latin America Logistics - ALL in Paranaguá / PR, whose installation is configured as the second one held by the DM.

 

STATICRAIL - Innovation comes to the rails

The STATICRAIL is a static measurement system which, associated with a software data processing and information management, offers the user accurate measurement of mass wagon values.
STATICRAIL uses electronic with high performance, coupled with rails instrumented with Strain Gages, ELIMINATING THE NEED TO WORK WITH DITCH, which has greater job security advantages, pest control and solves the flooding problem, and less expenses on their maintenance.

DM Sistemas de Medição held on 25/09, in Belo Horizonte, the I Forum DM 2009. The event was attended by employees of Vale from the units of Minas Gerais, such as engineers, supervisors, quality controllers, production processes, electronics and project managers.
The purpose of the event was to present technological instrumented solutions of rails developed by DM, as well as detailing its operation and proposals.
Moreover, officials of the technical and commercial areas of DM discussed issues and questions raised about the new technology presented, demonstrating to participants that DM invests in high technology and skilled labor, offering commitment and satisfaction to its customers.

The forum generated positive results with regard to satisfaction and commitment of the participants, who had their expectations met.

After the completion of the joint venture performed between Metropar and Daiken, which resulted in the emergence of DM Sistemas de Medição, the companies involved saw as a gain to be physically closer. Then came the decision to change the address of Metropar, which occurred in December 2008, taking advantage of this moment of change and novelty. The new headquarters is located in the industrial park of Daiken in Colombo - the metropolitan region of Curitiba.

Metropar and Daiken launched on 11.06.2008, during the faire Business on Rails, a joint venture to develop new technologies. DM Sistemas de Medição, a company formed by a union, promises to surprise the market, offering innovations facing the railroad industry.

The partnership brings together the expertise in metrology of Metropar and Daikens excellence in automation. According to those responsible for the union, Jose Guilherme Leal and Oscar Keiji Yamaki - socio-directors of Metropar and Daiken, respectively - the goal is that in the short term, DM Sistemas de Medição go to work abroad. The international expansion will include technical and commercial pre-existing structures in the markets of India, South Africa, Australia and Latin America.

Tradition

The two companies involved in the joint venture have extensive experience in the rail segment, attending the large companies. For over 13 years, Metropar is a reference in metrology, with a strong performance in providing calibration services for railway scales. Specialist in electronics technology applied to Daiken began operations in 1993 and since then, its recognized for excellence in the development and manufacture of embedded systems.
