Calibration

The guarantee of the systems measurement performance is directly related to the quality of the calibration procedures employed.

Specifically for railway scales, DM, in conjunction with METROPAR, is able to provide structure for wagons with standard benchmark certified by INMETRO-IPEM for the running tests.

METROPAR has conducted more than 2500 railway scale calibration; it provides this type of service in the southeastern and southern Brazil for more than eight years.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN SCALE CALIBRATION

STATIC RAILWAY SCALES CALIBRATION

Metropar is the only company in the rail market that uses a set of pattern wagons to perform the metrological tests.
The use of nominal weights, certified by INMETRO or IPEMS, allows greater efficiency in the weight perception errors (20t) and daily loading or unloading (80t). This type of error is often hidden when the calibration model used is the trucks of 11 tons of default mass weight.
This innovation, practiced in the south of Brazil since 2002, gives Metropars customers higher levels of loyalty in your business and gives more flexibility in the processes, with a reduction of the test to 40 minutes.

DYNAMIC RAILWAY SCALES CALIBRATION

The learning acquired by Metropar in the development of pattern wagons has also been applied in the calibration of dynamics railway scales. Today, Metropar has as a differential, the ability to form trains able to perform 60 tests with 5 to 20 km /h.
The SGM (Metrological Management System) issues service certification and thorough assessment on the ability of the product class. This process, which requires a complex logistics organization, is performed by Metropar in the maximum period of two days.
